Does your google search include "How to stay consistent with my social media content?"
If so, you’re not alone.
For the small business owner, making sure that your followers stay engaged and keep up with what you’re sharing can be tough.
Here are 5 ways to stay consistent with your social media content - even for the busy small business owner:
Set a Schedule
The best way to stay consistent is to set a schedule and stick with it. Decide ahead of time when you’re going to post, how often, and what types of content you’re going to share. For most small local businesses, 1-3 times a week is sufficient.
PRO TIP: Determine your schedule based on how often YOU can show up for your audience - not what the 'experts' say.
Having a plan in place will help make sure that your followers always have something new and interesting from you.
Utilize Automation Tools
There are plenty of tools out there that can help you stay consistent with your social media content. Metricool is my favorite automation tool for Instagram, Facebook, Linked In, Pinterest, TikTok and more! The website and app allows you to schedule posts in advance and helps you track important metrics so you know what’s working (or not). At less than $20 a month, it's just the right price for small business owners

Create Different Types of Content
It’s important to mix it up when it comes to the types of content you’re sharing. Posting the same thing over and over again can get boring for your followers (and yourself if I'm honest!). Try your hand at videos, GIFs, polls, or even live streams to keep things interesting.
Reuse Popular Content
Every month, take a look at your best performing content from 6 months prior. Post it again! While it seems redundant, remember that you have new followers that likely haven't seen that content. This can help keep your content fresh and interesting without having to constantly come up with new ideas.

Get Creative
Finally, don’t be afraid to experiment and get creative with your content. Try different platforms, engage with influencers - this is becoming a very popular trend; or even create contests to get people talking about your brand.
